This course is designed for law enforcement personnel responsible for documenting, evaluating, and explaining bloodstain evidence in investigative and courtroom settings.

Students will receive practical instruction in bloodstain pattern recognition, documentation, terminology, stain characteristics, directionality, impact patterns, cast-off patterns, projected patterns, transfer patterns, and area of origin considerations.

This course provides law enforcement personnel with the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to safely and effectively carry, deploy, and maintain the Axon TASER 10. Instruction will cover device operation, safety protocols, deployment procedures, target placement, tactical considerations, agency policy, post-deployment responsibilities, and practical exercises.

Registered students will receive an email containing additional course information, required release forms, and a link to complete the mandatory pre-course requirements. 

Students whose agencies issue the TASER 10 should bring their agency-issued device to class. No live TASER cartridges are permitted in the classroom.
